Dallas, TX – BBA Aviation’s Global Engine Services companies announced today that Deborah Wells has joined its leadership team as Vice President of Strategy and Business Improvement. Wells will lead the integration of GES’s core operations, consisting of engineering, quality, and continuous improvement, with the global strategic planning process.
“Throughout Deborah’s career, she has worked in OEM service centers, manufacturing and supply chain, which gives her both technical insights and business prowess”, Hugh McElroy, President and COO of Global Engine Services said. “She is renowned for applying critical thinking to every role she undertakes to improve execution, operational processes and drive financial results, so we are thrilled to have a member of her caliber lead our efforts.”
Most recently, Wells served as Sr. Director of Global Strategic Sourcing at United Technologies Corp (UTC). Additionally, her experience stems from various senior roles at Pratt & Whitney Canada including Engine MRO in West Virginia, Aftermarket Strategic Business Development and P&WC’s Aerospace Component Service group, as well as time spent at HVAC manufacturer, Carrier, as financial controller.
“Deborah is a strong asset with a track record of success spanning aviation’s corporate, airline and government sectors,” McElroy said. “She leads with a customer-oriented focus and will be deeply involved in operational process implementation in the coming months, adjusting our processes for excellence to further enhance our turn-around-time delivery, product quality and productivity.”
Wells is a native Texan and will oversee GES’s global strategic operational and business improvement from GES’s main headquarters at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.
