Helicopter operators can now access regional engine support through Authorized Service Centres: HQ Aviation, Sloane Helicopters and Rotortec AG, in accordance with H+S Aviation’s AMROC agreement
Portsmouth, UK – H+S Aviation, a BBA Aviation’s Global Engine Services company, announces the recent approvals of three new service centres for Rolls-Royce FIRST Network M250 and RR300 regional engine support. In accordance with H+S Aviation’s Rolls-Royce AMROC agreement, the company will partner with the following service centres to provide regional support, such as field services to helicopter operators through each service centre’s OEM-approved capabilities.
- HQ Aviation will provide Rolls-Royce Authorised Service Centre support for the RR300 engine in the UK.
- Sloane Helicopters will provide Rolls-Royce Authorised Service Centre support for the RR300 engine in the UK.
- Rotortec AG will provide Rolls-Royce Authorised Service Centre support for the M250 engine in Switzerland, in addition to its current authorisation for RR300 service centre capabilities.
H+S Aviation will partner with each organisation, all independently owned and operated businesses, to collectively offer M250 and RR300 operators comprehensive engine MRO services in Europe. Through H+S Aviation’s AMROC, the company will ensure each Authorised Service Centre is operationally-equipped to perform all approved workscopes and that operators receive engine maintenance services from OEM-certified technicians.
“We understand that helicopter operators require quick-turn, local services to get their aircraft operational and back in the air,” Andrew
Ferguson, Commercial Director of H+S Aviation said. “With our approvals of HQ Aviation, Sloane Helicopters and Rotortec AG and Rolls-Royce’s support, M250 and RR300 operators will have additional maintenance support, with the high quality of service they expect.”
The new Authorised Service Centres will provide maintenance on M250 and RR300 engines in line with workscopes set in the M250 and RR300 Engine Operation and Maintenance Manuals, including field maintenance; while H+S Aviation will continue to provide HMIs, heavy maintenance, repair and overhaul, component repair and engine testing services.
“We are proud of the trust Rolls-Royce puts in our team to authorise independent service centres across the region to be extensions of OEM support,” Ferguson said. “Our customers receive the same OEM-quality products and services, but with more focused support through these partnerships.”
